this old man without eyes is creating a illusion in her head, making her see those hallucinations so as dead people on their floors. why she didn't see doctor danny is because he's not dead and he couldn't make illusion of him. I think he is trying to drive her crazy so she kill herself or worse ? kill Isaac or something. and on this court I think that was the real Danny just helping that old man without eyes with his plan to drive her crazy. just my theory though.

Yes, I agree. Even though it might be for selfish reasons, like getting her eyes. On each floor they either test your physical strength or mental or both. Also It could be that their job is to kill people, but maybe they are afraid that Zack and Racheal might make it together and Zack will escape, because in the beginning they were going to sacrifice Zack because he broke rules who knows

Honestly, looking back at these few episodes, I'd say that Grey is the most dangerous and horrifying of them all and it all shows through this episode in particular. There are a lot of comical moments in the trial but if you listen closely, doesn't all of what Cathy and Eddie are saying end up translating to what Rachel thinks of herself. She thinks she's wicked, cruel and deceitful from Cathy and self serving, selfish and innately greedy and with her lack of knowledge of self happiness, she'd rather everyone around her not to be happy on Eddie's account. We all know they aren't actually there so all this could only mean this is truly what Rachel thinks of herself. The rebuttals she made against them is just her trying to prove herself wrong when these thoughts come out. Danny's hurt the most imo. Leaving the whole peepers spiel, Rachel already thinks her soul without the hope of salvation and that she is always taking, never once truly giving.
